Do employees need to set their absence in Jira and Outlook separately?

No. With Out of Office Sync for Jira and Microsoft, employees set their out-of-office status in Outlook only. The app syncs Outlook absence status to Jira automatically. Employees don’t need to update their Jira profile or use a separate absence tool.
